**What you`ll do:**



**Summary:**



We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to join the Hyperspace AI Accelerators team.

Our mission is to design and deliver solutions and frameworks as part of our platform that enhance the developer experience across SAP.

This includes building AI-Agentic driven solutions and MCP servers that form the foundation of our development infrastructure.

As a Product Owner, you will define and drive the vision for products that empower developers to work more efficiently and effectively.

You will collaborate closely with engineering teams, architects, and stakeholders to prioritise features, shape product roadmaps, and ensure alignment with SAP’s AI strategy.

Your role will involve balancing innovation with practicality—bringing AI capabilities into developer workflows while maintaining reliability and scalability.



**The Role:**



In this role, you will own the AI product lifecycle, from discover and prioritization to delivery and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to shape AI use cases that create measurable business impact.

You’ll define and ensure that product roadmaps align with SAP’s AI strategy, balance user needs with technical feasibility and maintain transparency and agile execution throughout delivery.



**Responsibilities:**



+ Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement

+ Define, prioritize and maintain the AI product backlog and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic themes

+ Translate business needs into clear product requirements and measurable value metrics

+ Collaborate with engineering, data and design teams to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions

+ Drive incremental value realization through iterative development and feedback loops

+ Promote AI adoption and excellence by aligning on product vision, roadmap, and success criteria

+ Engage and align stakeholders to ensure transparency, buy-in and outcome-driven delivery

+ Apply agile and SAFe principles to coordinate cross-functional delivery teams and synchronize with dependent programs



**What you bring (maximum character count 750):**



+ Degree in computer science or a similar field

+ Proven experience in product ownership or product management in AI, data or similar digital products

+ Solid understanding of AI solution lifecycles, from proof of concept to production

+ Strong analytical and communication skills to translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans

+ Hands-on experience in designing, developing and operating production ready AI Solution

+ Strong understanding of AI technologies, trends, and product development lifecycles

+ Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and project management tools (e.g., Jira)

+ Fluent English and a proactive, problem solving mindset



**Nice to have but not a must**



+ Knowledge of agentic AI and generative AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, CrewAI)

+ Familiarity with SAP ecosystem and enterprise AI governance tools and frameworks

+ Certifications with cloud and data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Databricks)

+ Deep understanding of core business operations within at least one of the focus areas HR, Finance, or Analytics, with a strong awareness of how AI use cases can drive transformational change in these domains.



These skills are a plus.

If you don’t have experience in all these areas, we’ll provide the resources and training you need to become a leader in cutting-edge AI technologies.

As part of the newly established Hyperspace AI Accelerators team, you will support the team’s mission to develop next generation agentic AI solutions.

You contribute to how we as Hyperspace bring AI to engineering roles at SAP and guide other teams based along the AI strategy and architecture.



Our team is dedicated to building robust, scalable solutions and frameworks as part of our platform and IT frameworks that empower developers across the organization.

We focus on enhancing the developer's experience by delivering solutions that streamline workflows, improve productivity, and support modern engineering practices.

This includes the development of AI-Agentic based capabilities, MCP servers, and platform which connect it all.



We operate at the intersection of innovation and practicality—designing systems that are not only forward-looking but also reliable and maintainable.
