Our Team
Data Analytics Services (DAS) is a key pillar of the Automation CoE within Sanofi Business Operations.
Besides data analytics, the wider team’s scope is comprised of Master Data Management, Process Mining & Process Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
DAS is primarily responsible for building and maintaining Power BI dashboards in the finance domain.
Main responsibilities
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Analytics Testing Analyst to support and manage data validation and testing efforts across business and technical teams.
This role will be responsible for coordinating with country Finance teams, ensuring data accuracy, and aligning with both business needs and system capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Finance, including Order to Cash (O2C) processes.
1.
Testing Coordination & Documentation:
Organize and manage end-to-end testing activities with business users and technical teams.
Design comprehensive test scenarios, test plans, and testing cycles.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test coverage and validation of business-critical data.
Log and manage test results, defects, and findings using Jira and Confluence.

Data Validation & Quality Assurance:
Verify data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
Identify discrepancies or data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
Perform root cause analysis on data issues and track remediation.
Support data migration and transformation testing activities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to gather and understand data and reporting requirements.
Translate business requirements and user stories into actionable and testable test cases and scripts.
Ensure test coverage aligns with both functional and non-functional business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate testing efforts with country Finance teams and ensure local requirements are met.
Liaise between business and IT teams to bridge functional and technical understanding.
Ensure that testing aligns with global finance standards and compliance.

SAP Finance & O2C Expertise:
Leverage knowledge of SAP Finance modules, including Order to Cash processes, for effective testing and validation.
Understand financial data flows, transactions, and reporting in SAP environments.
Support finance teams during UAT and system transitions involving SAP Finance.
5.
Data Analytics Tools & Reporting Validation:
Validate dashboards, KPIs, and analytics reports in platforms such as Power BI
Understand data modeling principles to support visualization and analytics validation.
Support business intelligence initiatives and help troubleshoot data and reporting issues.
About you
Experience:
5–7 years of experience in data testing, data quality, or analytics QA roles.
Strong knowledge of SAP Finance modules and financial processes, especially Order to Cash (O2C).
Hands-on experience with data validation, test case management, and test cycle execution.
Proven ability to analyze and translate business requirements into functional test cases and scenarios.
Experience validating reports and dashboards in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or equivalent.
Lead, coordinate, and manage the testing of complete data analytics solutions with Business and technical teams.
Overseeing testing strategies, managing testing teams, ensuring data quality.
Testing of KPI – coordinator’s responsibility.
Define the test scenarios of DA Solutions.
Design and implement overall test strategies for data projects (ETL, Data Warehouse, BI Reporting).
Create and review detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
Coordinate and manage testing efforts across multiple technical teams.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and business rule verification.
Manage defect lifecycle: identification, tracking, reporting, and closure.- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.
Mentor and lead junior data testers and QA teams.- Drive automation initiatives in data testing processes.
Communicate testing status, risks, and metrics to leadership.
SQL, ETL/Data Warehouse Testing, Leadership, Risk Management, Reporting and Communication Skills, QA methodologies.BI Testing Tools (e.g., Query Surge, Informatica Data Validation), Jira, Test Management Tools (e.g., ALM, TestRail).
Test strategies, test execution reports, defect reports, status updates to leadership.
Ensure end-to-end quality, accuracy, security, and reliability of data solutions, minimizing risks and ensuring stakeholder confidence.
Detail-oriented, self-driven, and capable of managing priorities across multiple data initiatives.
Soft skills:
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and drive process improvement initiatives across an organization.
Inter-cultural skills and eagerness to work in a very international setting.
High level of Interpersonal/ communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization
