**Overview**

**DATA PRIVACY OPERATIONS DIRECTOR**

This role’s primary responsibility is to ensure that data privacy principles are implemented into all areas of Publicis’ business.

This position should have knowledge of data privacy laws that are applicable to the AdTech and advertising industry.

The position will coordinate across senior-level business, engineering, and system administration stakeholders to implement data privacy by design and default into existing and future proprietary systems.

This role will navigate between strategic business objectives and systems/process concepts.

**Roles & Responsibilities:**

+ Support implementing and managing the Data Privacy Program for the NCE region alongside the Global Data Privacy Program Lead in close coordination with the country CFOs
+ Collaborate closely with Publicis Groupe´s Global Data Privacy Office, the NCE region DPO as well as the Global Security Office to ensure alignment between Groupe´s global and data privacy protection practices and programs
+ Serves as one of the data privacy subject matter expert with a focus on EU privacy and data protection laws and regulations.
+ Undertake reviews of our business processes to ensure the best practice are followed around the handling and use of personal information

**Under the supervision of the Global Data Privacy Program Lead:**

+ Deploy and ensure the completion of record keeping obligations
+ Compile status reports of data privacy deliverables to executive leadership
+ Provide leadership and strategic guidance to product/system owners in the design and evaluation of privacy and data protection related tools and projects (e.g., privacy-by-design).
+ Lead all phases of vendor due diligence assessment for all market specific vendors/partners
+ Partners with vendor contract owners to ensure contractual obligations are met by vendors in accordance to data privacy laws
+ Facilitate factual due diligence activities for data privacy impact assessments

**Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years’ experience in the AdTech, digital media industry and/or data privacy field
+ Ability to manage 8-10 parallel medium to large size projects in a matrixed, multi-discipline environment
+ Ideally experience of collating and preparing Subject Access Request disclosures
+ Not requirement but preferred minimum of 10 years professional work experience with ideally 3 year of which is data privacy related experience with a focus on European data privacy and protection laws, regulations and best practices
+ Experience with OneTrust platform is considered as an advantage
+ IAPP certification(s) (e.g. CIPP,CIPP/E, CIPM) are considered as advantages
