What you'll build

As a Developer, you will design and develop automation processes for Data Products and Intelligent Apps within the Business Data Cloud Platform.

You will explore the latest data lake technology offered by SAP, based on Delta Share and HANA Spark.

You will work on all aspects of data and analytics including extraction from source systems from our lines of business, storage, enrichment, visualization, and AI integration automations.

You will apply best practices, document how to use our technology and share knowledge throughout the company.

Business Data Cloud empowers customers with advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and smarter decision-making to achieve the best business outcomes.

What you bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business informatics or related field.
• Experience in a CI/CD, DevOps, or SW developer role
• Exerience with Python, shell scripting, Docker and GitHub
• Experience in pipeline orchestrator Azure DevOps (preferred)
• Knowledge about different levels of test automation like unit tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests and how to integrate the test execution and result analysis into a pipeline
• Ability to communicate requirements in a complex pipeline environment towards different technology providers and their various technology stacks (Datalake, Data Warehouse and Data Visualization tool)
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and processes
• Knowledge of SAP Business Applications is plus (S/4HANA, HCM, ISBN, CX)
