Job Description
As NetApp Storage Engineer:
This role involves managing storage infrastructure changes via HPSM and OTSM, including tasks like Qtree management, firmware upgrades, export policies, and quota configurations.
It includes monitoring and maintenance using tools such as Active IQ, OpenNMS, Grafana, and Hawkeye, as well as coordinating technician deployments and handling performance and security issues.Additional responsibilities cover automation and scripting (PowerShell, Linux, Ansible), backups, migrations, documentation, and introducing new technologies (e.g., S3, Anti-Ransomware).
The position offers a long-term opportunity to help define the future operational model.
Qualifications
Background and required skills:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT3-5 years of experience in managing and implementing NetApp storage solutionsExperience in planning, installation, and configuration of NetApp systemsAdvanced knowledge of NetApp ONTAP (including SnapMirror, SnapVault)Knowledge of NAS technologies (as well as protocols such as iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS)Experience with AnsibleExperience with Windows PowerShell and Linux scripts.Strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication competences in English language.Advantage:
