Our Platform Engineering team drives the tools and infrastructure that empower developers, testers to innovate faster and deliver reliable, high-quality software to our customers.

From CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure to observability, security, and developer productivity, our work enables the engineering teams to focus on what they do best: creating cutting-edge technology.n*This is a Hybrid role that requires weekly presence in the Budapest office!nResponsibilitiesnnDesign, build, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure to support the development, testing, and operation of Formlabs' software and services.nDrive improvements in developer experience through better CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform tooling.nTake ownership of production systems with a proactive mindset towards monitoring, performance, and continuous improvement.nLead and contribute to architectural decisions that impact our infrastructure and how engineering teams interact with it.nMentor other engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.nBuild and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms, cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS), and automation tooling.nEnsure that monitoring, logging, and alerting systems are robust, actionable, and scalable.nWork cross-functionally with Software, Test, and Data teams to align platform improvements with organizational needs.nnQualificationsnnBS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles supporting production SaaS systems.nHands-on expertise with:nnLinux systems administration and troubleshooting.nKubernetesnCloud platforms (GCP, AWS).nInfrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.).nCI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).nScripting in Bash, Python, or similar.nMonitoring and observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sentry, etc.).nnStrong understanding of modern infrastructure security principles.nSolid networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/S).nExperience supporting complex distributed systems in production environments.nnBonus skillsnnFamiliarity with 3D printing workflows or hardware/software integration.nBackground in building developer platforms or internal tooling for large engineering teams.nStrong interest in improving engineering productivity and operational maturity through automation and tooling.nnWe Offer:nnCatered lunch at the office 3 days per weeknPrivate health insurance with Medicover (Blue package + hospital coverage)nA monthly or quarterly public transportation pass for BudapestnFree beverages and snacks at the officenAll You Can Move sports pass with 7000 HUF monthly allowancenFree 3D printsnAn inclusive, dog-friendly office with diverse and inspiring colleaguesnDevelopment opportunities both in-house and off-sitennWe build amazing things.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure to support the development, testing, and operation of Formlabs' software and services.

Drive improvements in developer experience through better CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform tooling.

Take ownership of production systems with a proactive mindset towards monitoring, performance, and continuous improvement.

Lead and contribute to architectural decisions that impact our infrastructure and how engineering teams interact with it.

Mentor other engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Build and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms, cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS), and automation tooling.

Ensure that monitoring, logging, and alerting systems are robust, actionable, and scalable.

Work cross-functionally with Software, Test, and Data teams to align platform improvements with organizational needs.

Qualifications

BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of relevant experience in DevOps, Platform, or SRE roles supporting production SaaS systems.

Hands-on expertise with:

Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.

Kubernetes

Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, etc.).

CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Scripting in Bash, Python, or similar.

Monitoring and observability systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sentry, etc.).

Strong understanding of modern infrastructure security principles.

Solid networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/S).

Experience supporting complex distributed systems in production environments.

Bonus skills

Familiarity with 3D printing workflows or hardware/software integration.

Background in building developer platforms or internal tooling for large engineering teams.

Strong interest in improving engineering productivity and operational maturity through automation and tooling.
