Job Description
:
You will be responsible for ensuring data quality, accuracy, and completeness across complex processes and reporting layers.
You will leverage your strong SQL skills to design and execute test cases, validate large datasets, and investigate data discrepancies.
Working closely with developers, business analysts, and data engineers in an Agile environment, you will contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality data solutions that meet business needs.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Strong SQL skills – ability to write, optimize, and debug complex queries for data validation and analysis.At least 2-3 years of experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similarUnderstanding of database concepts (relational databases, data modeling, normalization).Familiarity with DWH concepts such as star/snowflake schema, fact and dimension tables.Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing of data-centric applications.Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail)Ability to work with large datasets and identify data quality issues.Basic knowledge of automation for data testing (e.g., using Python, SQL scripts, or automation frameworks) is a plus.Soft Skills & Competencies:
High attention to detail and accuracy in data validation and defect reporting.Analytical mindset for identifying root causes of data inconsistencies.Strong communication skills to collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers.Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test cases.Proactive in raising potential risks and suggesting improvements.Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with cloud-based DWH platforms
